Adventz Agri Innovation Center

Zuari has made bold strides in this direction by establishing the Adventz Agri Innovation Center (AAIC) at Lamboti, near Solapur in Maharashtra. AAIC comprises of 104 acres of land, well suited for cultivating various crops. It has a well laid out irrigation system connected to a large well, which can meet the water requirement almost throughout the year. Plans have been initiated to lay out demonstrations on field crops, besides horticultural crops and showcase precision agriculture to farmers in the immediate future.

Agricultural Development Laboratory

In 1974 the first high-tech agricultural development laboratory was established in Bengaluru. The success of this laboratory led to another similar lab being established in Pune followed by one in Tirupati. These labs are also well equipped to carry out water and leaf petiole analysis.

Hello Jai Kisaan

This toll free service established in Pune, Bangalore, Tirupati and Goa allows farmers to resolve their queries by a simple phone call. The Hello Jai Kisaan services are manned by agri-experts who are well equipped in advising farmers on scientific agriculture. This service is available throughout the week between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Farmers across the state can avail of this service by phoning in, to resolve their queries. This service aims at providing on the spot solutions to farmers. If an instant solution is not possible, Zuari aims to resolve the queries within twenty-four hours of the initial phone call. An added bonus of this service is that Jai Kisaan Krishi Salahkar working in the fields can avail of expert help whenever required.
