The Indian farmer feeds our nation. It is only right therefore, that we at Zuari help to enhance the life of the farmer and aid him in his livelihood. The company has initiated a number of activities such as setting up agricultural development laboratories, toll free help lines and conducting a variety of training programs and demonstrations for the Indian farmer. An educated Indian farmer is the first step in upgrading the quality of rural life. Zuari even adopts villages as part of its rural action schemes, ensuring that the entire agricultural community benefits as a whole.

Some of the welfare programs that Zuari has conducted in the past include projects for rainwater harvesting, bore well recharging and crop specific projects catering to coconut, sugarcane, paddy and cashew.
