Zuari Industries cements decision to venture into cement business once again – 7-6-10
NEW DELHI: Zuari Industries is re-entering the cement business after exiting it four years ago. This comes as part of plans to spend over $1.5 billion for expanding fertiliser, real estate and cement businesses, the chairman of the diversified firm said. The company had sold its equity stake in the cement business to joint venture partner Italcementi in 2006.

Zuari Industries Ltd. wins prestigious FAI Western Region Awards – 10th May, 2010
Zuari Industries Ltd. won the prestigious Fertiliser Association of India Western Region (FAI WR) Awards held recently in Pune. We walked away with the award for best performance in Fertiliser Extension Services (Western Region) and Recognition of Participation for Crop Productivity Enhancement Project conducted by FAI-WR. The awards were bestowed by the Chairman of Western region of FAI Mr. S C Mehta. The awards were received by Mr. B K Kinekar GM S and Mr. A. Venkatram DGMM, ZIL & other Zuari official respectively.
